KAITAIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The following letter from a gentleman resident as far away as Hawera may induce some of our local settlers to support this live institution:—

Dear Sir,—Though resident in so far away a district I should esteem it an honour if you will elect me a member of your Chamber of Commerce.

Being a subscriber to the Age I have been able to follow the business transacted by your Chamber. Being a ratepayer in your County I feel it my duty and priviledge to subscribe to and assist in any way possible so live and useful a body. I think the business transacted during the year, as detailed in your President’s annual report reflects the very greatest credit on all those concerned and augurs well for the development of the district in the near future.

Enclosed please find subscription 10/6 and believe me Yours Truly, J. BLAIR.
