NOTICE OF INTENTION TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN In pursuance of Section 9 of the Loca Bodies Loan Act 1913, public notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Mangonui County Council to borrow by way of Special Loan from the State Advances Superintendent the sum of £2OOO at the rate of 4% per cent, per annum interest. The term of the loan to be 36% years and the Loan to be repaid in installments in accordance with the prescribed scale. (a) The purpose for which the said loan is required is for repairing roads, culverts, and bridges and for renewing culverts and bridges destroyed through flood damage through the County (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £2OOO (c) The Council proposes to pledge as security for repayment of the said Loan and interest thereon an annual recurring Special Rate of one-twelfth of a penny (I-12d.) in the £ on the unimproved value of the rateable property in the Mangonui County. (d) The Council proposes to pay out of the Loan the cost of raising the Loan and the first years interest and principal installment thereon. Dated this nth day of April, 1917. T. S.
