Ragg.— On the Ist April, afc Rock Ferry, Dudley, Wairau, the wife of Mr. John Ragg, aged 86 years ; also, April 2, the infant child of Mr. John Ragg. Smith. — On the 10th of April, at Tainui-street, Greyraouth, Annie Anderson, wife of Dr. Smith. Sheppabd. — April 15, at his residence, Waimearoad, Mr. John Sheppard, stonemason, late of Aberdeen, aged 52.
Nobton and Co.'s Watches. — The 12-dollar Lever Watch, No. 13,580, purchased from Chas. P. Norton and Co., 86 Nassau-street, New York, January sth, has been carried by me over six months, with a total variation in time of only 26 seconds, without the slightest regulating, and presents the same brilliancy of colour as when purchased. — James R.
