Thomas, Mr. John Wheadon, to Miss Reader, both of Nelson. DIED. Anderson. — On the 27th December, at Nelson Hospital, John Anderson, miner, late from Wangapeka. Fell. — On the 2nd November, 1871, at his residence, at Greenwich, near London, after a long illness, Alfred Fell, Esq., late of Nelson, New Zealand. [The deceased gentlemen was one of the first body of Nelson settlers, and arrived here in the " Lord Auckland," in February, 1842. Having acquired a competency, Mr. Fell returned to England some fifteen years ago, but without losing interest in Nelson, towards which he always retained warm feelings of regard. His death will be deeply regrettud by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.] Foy. — On the 19th of January, Eliza, the beloved wife of Mr. T. H. Foy, aged 33 years. Glanham. — On the 4th of January, at Tasman-man-street, the Wood, Mr. John Owen Glanham, formerly of Sydney, aged 45 years. Jackson. — On the 27th December, the wife of Mr. James Jackson, aged 39 years. Jackson. — On the 11th of January, at Nelson, Sarah, infant daughter of Mr. James Jackson, aged 24 days. M'Eachen. — On the 9th of January, suddenly, at Alton-street, Mrs. Maria M'Eachen, aged 62 years. Poole. — On the 13th January, at the Nelson Hospital, Mr. James Poole, late of Awatere, Marlborough, aged 38 years. Scott.— December 25, after a long and painful illness, Mrs. R. Scott, wife of Captain R. Scott, aged 64 years. Wakefoed. — On the 29th December, at Colling-wood-street, Nelson, Samuel Wakeford, engineer, late of Southampton, England, aged 42.
