PLOUGHING MATCH. nnHE COMMITTEE of the AGRICULJL TURAL ASSOCIATION having resolved to hold a PLOUGHING MATCH on TUESDAY, August 17, in a field on the farm of the undersigned, near Richmond, hereby OFFER tho following PRIZES to be competed for : — Hor a c Swing Ploughs, with or without driver : Firßt Prize, £3 ; second, £2 ; third, £1. Horae Wheel Ploughs, with or without driver: Same prizps. Bullock Ploughs (wheel or swing), with or without driver : Same prizes. Open to all comers. No Entrance Fee. Unless six ploughs start iv each class, one of the prizes will be withheld, and the Judges will be instructed to withhold any prize in any class, when the ploughing is not meritorious 5 also, to recommend for extra prizes, when the work is meritorious, although leas than six shall start. All Ploughs to start at Ten a.m., and to finish by Three p.m. Tho Quantity of Land not to exceed Half-an-Acre. Ihe Furrow Slice not to be le3B thau five incheß deep by nine inches wi'ie. The Prizes will be paid as soon as the Judges have made their Awards.
