At the recent M'Clellan meeting at New York, some one in the crowd, impatient at the non-ap-pearance of the General, shouted, "Hurrah for little Mac !" Thereupon another voice, in a much louder key, cried, " Hurrah for a jackass !" — " That's right," said the first speaker, "you call for your candidate, and I'll coll for mine. It's a free country."
