ANNUAL LICENSING- MEETING. The annual meeting of Magistrates, for the granting of publicans' licenses, was held at the Court House, Nelson, yesterday. The following licenses were granted : — TOWN OF NFLSON. Edward Mills, Wakatu Hotel. Charles M'Gee, Marine Hotel. Charles Harley, Trafalgar Hotel. Charles Gentry, Masonic Hotel. Edward Everett, Sank Hotel. . Henry Baly, Wine and Spirit Store.

Joseph- Porthouse, Royal Hotel. George Richardson, Golden Fleece. Homy Jasper, Mitre Hotel. J. L. Newman, Miners' Arms. Stephen Adam, Anchor Inn. Archibald Banks, Thistle Inn. Joseph Edwards, Prince Albert. Henry Hudson, London Tavern. Abraham Bush, Steam-boat Tavern. Frederick Stock, London Tavern. Joseph Winterburn, Pier Hotel. "WAIMEA-EAST. Margaret Beach, Turf Hotel. Robert Disher, Star and Garter. Moses Coleman, Plough Inn. Robert Woolfenden, Wheat-sheaf Inn. Lucy Kite, Red Horse. MOTUEKA. Daniel Talbot, Swan Inn. Henry Tulbot, Green Man, Upper Moutere. The licenses for the other houses were postponed, in some cases on account of the absence of the holders, in others for matters to be considered by the Magistrates. In the case of the Prince Albert, the Magistrates 9aid the house was very badly conducted, and if further complaints were made the license would assuredly be taken away.
