No person not a subscriber of Two Guineas to the fund will be allowed to enter a horse for any race. The prizes will be paid by the Treasurer, on the Monday following the races, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at eleven o'clock, a.m. Entries (excepting for the Scurry Plate, Handicap Sweepstakes, Consolation Plate, and Forced Handicap) to be made, and colours of the riders declared, under a sealed cover to the Secretary of the Turf Club, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at or before six o'olock, pan., on the evening of Thursday, the 24th February. No public money will be added to the sweepstakes by the Stewards, unless two horses, the bonajide property of separate owners, do start. A bell will ring for saddling and another for starting ; not more than five minutes allowed after the last bell, when the horses at the post will be started. Horses to be at the post for the Great Nelson Trial Stakes, the Maiden Plate, and the Town Plate, a* twelve o'clock on eafihday.
