Sir — In reply to jour Takaka correspondent, who after inviting me over to examine his laws, with a view to prove there was no error in them, most ingeniously concludes by stating it is a " clerical error," I forward you their code of laws, and by the first proposition it is evident that they, the good mathematicians, do not yet discern the difference, between 30 feet squaro and 30 square feet.
