Our correspondents who write on the Education question are determined to tax our good nature to the utmost, for, notwithstanding the hint we recently gave them that we considered the question had been sufficiently discussed in our columns, complaints having reached us that our readers were becoming wearied of it, letters upon the subject are still poured in upon us. Out of several before us we have selected two for insertion in our present number, and there are reasons why it might be considered an ungracious act to exclude either of these; but for the others, although we are most reluctant to do so, we must decline giving them a place in our paper. We cannot be charged with partiality in this matter, for hitherto we have printed every communication we have received on the subject of the Education Act, without the least respect to sides, and among the correspondence which we reject the measure has advocates as well as opponents.
