Gibbs, commander, has been laid on as a regular packet between Sydney and the Southern Provinces of New Zea■tttad, andis intended to run monthly between Sidney, Nelson, Wellington, and Canterbury, calling at Nelson both going and returning. The advantage which the opening of this line of steam communication between New < Zealand, Sydney, and England (as it is intended the Ann shall reach Sydney in time to catch the sailing of the monthly packet for Singapore), both to shippers and passengers, cannot be sufficiently appreciated, and as the ship will meet with great despatch in every port, it is necessary that cargo intended for shipment should be ready for the vessel's arrival. ALFRED FELL & Co., have received instructions from Henry Redwood, Esq., senior, to SELL by PUBLIC AUCTION, on WEDNESDAY, the 21st day of September, the whole of his CATTLE (about 60 in number),) consisting of Dairy Cows, Working Bullocks, Heifers, and Steers, and Six very superior young CART HORSES, of Mr. Redwood's own breeding.
