DAY, the 17th December, 1849, and be concluded on MON. DAY, the 31st December, 1849. VOTING PAPERS will be ready for issue to the persons entitled to vote, or their duly authorised proxies, from Monday, the 17th December, to Monday, the 3 1st December, between the hours of Eleven and Twelve daily, at the Scrutator's office, in Nelson. , Persons holding PROXIES of Landowners are required to produce and verify the same before the Scrutator, at his office aforesaid, one clear day previous to the voting papers being issued to them. Persons claiming to vote as Heirs, Trustees, or Transferees of Original Landowners, are required to produce and verify all documents necessary to establish their claim, before the Scrutator, at his office aforesaid, two clear days previous to voting papers being issued to them. Divine Service will commence at half-past Ten in the forenoon, and half-past Two in the afternoon. TEA will be provided on the Monday following, at half-past Four o'clock in the afternoon.
