That the Committee beflrequestcd to listen particularly to the wishes of all, but ,to make their decisions with a due regard' to the appropriateness of the names proposed. That, with a view to prevent unnecessary delay, tbe Committee shall not be required to return answers to any inquiries respecting their decisions, but that the names selected shall be published every week in the Nelson' Examiner, with the description of the streets or places in reference to the Surveyor's plan. -Moved by Mr. Vallb, seconded by Mr. Voono, and carried unanimously : ri '- 4. That a subscription be entered into for the purpose of defraying the expense of advertising, and other incidental expenses. That the thanks of the meeting be given to Mr. Tucket* for getting a plan of the town acres ready for.initpection a fortnight before the time appointed for selection. . .
