BOXING DAY RACING SIX MEETINGS ON WEDNESDAY There will be three race meetings and three trotting meetings on Boxing Day. The chief event of the day will be the Auckland Cup, of £SOOO, at Ellerslie. The Manawatu Cup will be decided at the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting where the appearance of Typhoon will provide interest. The chief event at the Taranaki Jockey Club’s fixture will be the Christmas Handicap. Trotting fixtures will be held at Westport, Gore and Ashburton.
