There was a good attendance, and the track was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £26,755, compared with £35,950, at the club’s autumn meeting last year, a decrease of £9195. A last-minute decision was made not to run Typhoon in the Eketahuna Handicap at the Pahiatua meeting on Saturday and he was withdrawn from his engagement at 11.55 a.m.
