Hazare 65, Modi 75; Williams two for 47, Ellis two for 88, Pepper four for 120). Australian Services replied with 472 (Whitington 155, Pettiford 101. Miller 82; Marnath three for 41, Rangachari two for 40, Mankad four for 147). India in their second innings lost four wickets for 350. declared (Merchant not out 155. Abdul Hafeez not out 96; Pepper three for 96). Australian Services in their second innings lost two wickets for 49.
