(Conducted by the Stamp Man) Dear Boys and Girls, Norway has issued a set of three stamps to commemorate the centenary of the death of Henrick Arnoldus Wergeland, one of her famous poets, known as “The Burns of Norway. These stamps are in different colours j and show a portrait of this poet. This year’s issues of Health stamps are quite popular, and it was reported J that they were completely sold out in Auckland There are still quite good I stocks held at Nelson post offices, but | as these stamps were printed in Great, .Britain, it may not be possible to have more printed quickly It is likely that when the stamps on hand are sold out, further supplies will not be available, so I suggest that you make sure of getting as many of these stamps as you need now while they arc still available. Just to remind you, I will illustrate these stamps below.

HEALTH STAMP COMPETITION The Nelson Health Camp Committee is holding a competition for children for the collection of 1945 Health Stamps. Points will be given for the number of stamps sent in and the condition of the stamps Thirteen prizes, totalling £3 10s, will be awarded The competition closes on 28th February, 1946 Thank you for stamps: A.
