WOOD CLUB VISITS MOTUEKA A very closely contested miniature rifle match took place at Motueka when a team representing the Wood Club, Nelson, met the local club and were defeated by one point. N. Morgan, of Motueka, shooting for the visitors, returned the best card with a score of 97. Scores were as follows: Wood Club: N. Morgan 97, B. B. Jones 94, R. Sherwood 94, N. Moorhouse 93, R. Gorrie 92, G. Palamountain 90, G. Robertson 89, E. Potts 88, W. Healy 85, R. Mitchell 82; total, 904 points. Motueka Club: R. Cattermole 96, D. Franklin 95, R. Hannigan 93, R. Lefrantz 92, H. Roberts 91, E. Allen 91, W. Gaudin 89, K. Calder 88, J. Lusty 88, E. Shuker 82; total, 905 points.
