CHANGES ANNOUNCED London, Nov. 25. Lieut.-General Sir Oliver Leese has been appointed General Officer Commanding Eastern Command, in place of' Sir Alan Cunningham, who was appointed High Commissioner for Palestine. Lieut.-General Brian Horrocks has been appointed General Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Command. He takes the place of Lieut.-General D. G. Watson, who becomes Quarter-master-General.
