REPERTORY’S TRIBUTE
LATE MR F. W. HUGGINS At the conclusion of the last reading of th£ Nelson Repertory Theatre the president Mr C. G. Kirk paid tribute to the late Mr F. W. Huggins, who had been a member of the society since its inception in 1935. He referred to his unselfishness, his willing co-operation and the practical assistance and advice he was so ready to give. Even though Mr Huggins had been away for six years he showed that the welfare of the society was always in his thoughts by sending from time to time information or programmes of productions and shows he had seen overseas, said Mr Kirk.
The audience stood in silence as a tribute to the memory of the late Mr Huggins- /
