INTERCESSION
O Lord, restore our souls, we pray Thee, for in the darkness and bitterness of war men have too often lost faith in the sacrcdness of life. We bless Thy name for all the heroism and high self-sacrifice which revives that faith in the true nobility of the life which Thou hast given us. But help us all to livb more constantly and reverently in the light of those great hopes that make us men, and to press toward the mark of the prize of Thy high calling in Christ Jesus. Amen.
