Air Force and Rival played their second drawn game of the season on Saturday when they met at Trafalgar Park in the second round of the Nelson Rugby Union’s senior championship and they remain level at the head of the competition with 16 points—four points ahead of Waimea. The game was far from spectacular, the only bright moments coming in the last few minutes when Air Force gained a try and Rival evened with a penalty, goal right on time. Celtic scored a comfortable win over College in the other match at Trafalgar Park and Waimea beat Nelson-Old Boys at Richmond.
