FRENCH ACCUSATIONS
BRITISH ACTION IN LEVANT
Paris, June 24. A semi-official French news agency, replying tp the British official declaration on the Levant, accused Britain of planning further French evictions from Levantine regions. “Britain has no right to transfer French power to the Syrian and the Lebanese Govern, ments or any other authority.” said the news agency and added that the fact that the British had to evacuate French families from the Levant showed that the British themselves were Uriah 1 * to maintain order.
