Cash subscriptions (hiring yeeterduy amounted to £850.909, including £14,877 of redeemed promises, brihging the total of the 1945 Victory Loan to £19,000,032. The sum of £5.999.500 is required within the next live days to fill the loan. The feature of yesterday’s investments was the great spurt made by Wellington, approximately 45 per rent, of the subscriptions coming forward from the capital city’s area, and nwMmg it to jump into a commanding lead with 94 wr cent, of its objective in fcaml.
