FISHING RESUMED
DEVELOPMENT IN DUNEDIN DISPUTE Dunedin, June 10. After being idle for a week the Port Chalmers fishermen will resume fishing to-morrow morning and .the retail fish shops, which have been closed since last Monday, will reopen for the sale of fish to the public on Tuesday. Information to this effect was given to-night by Mr B. S. Connor, associate member of the price tribunal. He said he had given an assurance to the meetings of fishermen and retailers over the week-end that further facts relating to costs would be investigated without undue delay by the price tribunal and he expressed the hope that a complete settlement of the dispute would be reached within a day or two. In the meantime both sections will operate on basis of the tribunal’s price order.
