APPROVAL BY HOUSE Washington, June 7. Approval by the House of Representatives of the Bretton Woods monetary agreements gives President Truman another major foreign policy victory. The measure now goes to the Senate. Mr Morgenthau later issued the following statement: “The House’s action will engender a feeling of great confidence in the world at a time when it is important that we concentrate our efforts upon the achievement of - world security and peace. It presages an era of world co-operation which will lead to prosperity for all.”
