TRIBUTE TO LATE MR T. JORDAN
Dunedin, June 8. The British High Commissioner, Sir Harry Batterbee, to-day paid a tribute to the late Mr Thomas Jordan. He said he had given a great service not only to Masterton and the Wairarapa but to the whole Dominion. His death was a national loss. He had made an outstanding contribution to local government generally and especially National Patriotic Fund Board. —P.A.
