MR LESLIE LEFEAUX TO VISIT NELSON
ADDRESS ON BANKING AND FINANCE On Thursday evening next, in the School of Music, the people of Nelson will have the opportunity of hearing an address on banking and finance by Mr. Leslie Lefeaux. Formerly of the Bank of England, the Governor of the New Zealand Reserve Bank from 1934 to 1940, Mr Lefeaux has an expert knowledge of • finance, which, like other technical , subjects, is a highly, specialised study . He will deal with the subject generally in a way the layman can under- ! stand and make special reference to , trends in New Zealand since he has , been here. Mr Lefeaux’s visit has been ar- ’ ranged by Nelson businessmen.
