VITAL PIPELINE DAMAGED

Jerusalem, May 24. Unknown saboteurs blew up in two places the vital pipeline belonging to the Iraq Petroleum Company, says an official communique, which adds: “The damage will affect the conduct of the war against Japan and the attack is ’herefor* considered as a direct interference with the war effort.” Three telegraph poles were damaged by the explosion and four more in the vicinity • ere found to be mined.
