AUCKLAND R.S.A. BUILDING
£6OOO GOVERNMENT GRANT Auckland, May 24 The Auckland R.S.A. has been notified by the Acting Prime Minister, Mr Nash, that the Government has granted £6OOO toward the cost of purchase, alteration and furnishing of its new premises. A six-storey building was Purchased some time ago in the heart < f the city for £31.000. following a successful queen carnival. The buildings are now free of debt. The association plans further extensive alterations, with a view to providing club facilities additional to the cafeteria and billiard rooms at present available. The association hopes to secure a charter for the supply of liquor.
