A STORY IN SONGS
One day as I went walking over “Blueberry Hill” I met “Nelly Kelly.” As we went walking together we came to the “Old Wooden Bridge” under which ran the waters of “Swannie River.” Looking to our right we could see “The White Cliffs of Dover” and to our left we could see “The Easter Parade.” We walked on a little farther where we saw “Three Little Sisters” and “Eight Little Chirrips” dancing to a “Rustic Rhapsody.” “In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree” sat “Danny Boy” playing his “Music Box.” After a long time we decided to return to “Home Sweet Home.” We said “Cheerio” to “Danny Boy” and came home. —Edna Trow«r, Gowan Bridge.
