WAIMEA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD Notice oi Special Order 'JV'OTICE is hereby given that at a Meeting of the Waimea Electric Power Board, held on Friday, the Sixteenth day of March, i 945, the follow•ng resolution was passed: — “That in. pursuance and exercise ot the powers vested in it, by Section 15 of the Finance Act No.‘2, 1936 and with the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board, the Waimea Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: 1. That a Special Loan of £7500 to be known as the ‘Waimea Area Reticulation Loan (No. 3) 1944,“ be raised by the Waimea Electric Power Board for the purpose of providing additional monies for the further reticulation of the Waimea Special Rating Area. 2. That the rate of interest payable in respect of the said Special Loan or any part thereof shall not exceed £3 15s per centum per annum. payable half-yearly during the currency ot the said Special Loan, i eing a period of 20 years. 3. That the said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over the term of the loan 4. That the Security for the interest. Sinking Fund, and other charges, and repayment of the said Special Loan be a special rate of one-thir-teenth of one penny in the £ made and levied on the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of ail rateable property in the Special Rating Area. 5. That no amount payable as either interest or Sinking Fund, in respect of the said Special Loan, be paid out of loan monies. 6. That the rate payable for brokerage. underwriting and procuration fees in respect of the raising of thr said Special Loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed half per centum of any i amount raised. ! 7.
