BRIDGE STREET SHOP CHANGES HANDS The sale of a shop property in Bridge street. Nelson, from H. and A. T. Barltrop, to E. L. Marsack, at a price of £2925 has been approved by the Nelson Land Sales Committee. The building, which is 35 years old, is on a section of eight perches and it has a frontage to Bridge street of 36ft 3ins. Among other property sales recently approved by the Committee are the following:— A 16-year-old bungalow of five rooms and conveniences situated in Gladstone road, Richmond, on an area of land of 2 acres 33 perches, was approved for sale at £IBSO The property was described as being suitable for subdivision. An area of 307 acres of land at Wakapuaka, stated to be unsuitable for the settlement of an ex-serviceman, was sold for £650.

The price approved for the sale of a shop and dwelling, nine years old, at Mapua was £BOO. A five-roomed house built a little ov«r a year ago in Parker’s road, Tahunanui, sold for £llsO. The floor space of the building was said to be 847 square feet. An 18-year-old bungalow of six rooms in Fearon street, Motueka, on a section of 1 rood 37 perches, was approved for sale at £1750. The building is of six rooms and conveniences. A three-roomed house at the Glen was sold for £450.

Sections were approved for sale as follows: Moana Avenue, Tahunanui (30 perches), £230; Nile Street East (1 rood 5 perches). £150; Motueka street (26 perches), £220.
