MEAT LOTTERY
Auckland, Apl. 7. In the Magistrates’ Court, Auckland. Mr Luxford. S.M., fined George Samuel Conaghan £SO for establishing a lottery. Evidence was given that accused disposed of meat by lotteries held in a bar. No time was allowed in which to pay jhe fine. Default of immediate payment was fixed at six weeks’ imprisonment. —P.A.
