ROCKET ORDEAL PASSED

FIRST SWEETS OF VICTORY London, April 6. Something like a huge sigh of relief has gone up from London and the rest of southern England during the past week at the cessation of the rocketbombs which the Germans had been launching from northern Holland. This has been one of the almost immediate dividends from the crossing of the Rhine and Montgomery’s drive to cut off the German supply routes to Holland. It is felt now that while an odd flying bomb or two may still arrive, launched in mid-air, the rocket attacks have come to an end. It has been a trying experience, one which has been fatal for many and one which has meant the ruining of many more homes. The end of these attacks is one of the first sweets of the coming victory.—P.A. Special Correspondent.
