CHARGE OF SHEEP STEALING
Farmer committed for SENTENCE Auckland, Aug 15. Before the Magistrate Mr Luxford in the Helonsville Court, Eric Vivian Rap son. a farmer, was charged with theft on 6UI July of 52 ewes and one ram of 9 total value ol £92. the properly of Leslie Gavin Howie Drinnan. * In evidence Drinnan said the animals disappeared from his farm at Kaukapakapa in July. Witness next saw them on accused’s farm which was about a mile from witness's property. The registered earmarks had been cut out and the brand covered with an oil-like substance. Rupson pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.—P.A.
