COMPANY HEAVILY FINED
Dunedin, Aug. 14. The New Zealand Fur Co. Ltd., in the Police Court this morning was fined £IOO on each of four charges of wilfully making false returns of income and £IOO on each of five charges of making erroneous returns to the Sale: Tax Department The prosecution said it was the worst case of its kind te conv* betore New Zealand courts.
