MAHANA FREEZES
The ice at toe shed is one inch thick. Margaret and I got a jar and filled it with frost. Then we took it out and it was shaped like the jar. We brought back big lumps of ice from the shed on our car. I put it in the copper and in the morning when I looked it was still there. Daddy is pruning on the big orchard. There are five workers with him. —Peter Wells. Mahana.
