AIRMEN ENTERTAIN
Well over a thousand Marlborough peoale accepted the invitation of the DeUb Air Force personnel to a novel “iproome” on Saturday afternoon and evening, in spite of cloudy weather with a chilly wind, and civilians and airmen alike enjoyed the function tremendously, reports “The Express.” In these days of difficult travel, probably only a comparatively few townspeople had previously had an opportunity of seeing even the outside of this Delta Camp of which they had heard so much, so that the opportunity of convenient transport and a good look at part of the Camp from within was doubly welcome. To the airmen, too, the reception gave an unusual opportunity—that of returning hospitality to the civilians who have helped to make them feel at home in a strange place.
