HEAVY FIGHTING
PARTISANS IN YUGOSLAVIA (Rec. 10.40 a.m.') Rugby, Jan. 24. A Yugoslav report states there is heavy fighting 35 to 50 miles south-east of Fiume, where the Germans are trying to break through towards Senj on the coast. In western Bosnia fighting is taking place 10 miles west of Jaice. In eastern Bosnia street fighting continues at Tuzla. Partisans have occupied a place 12 miles east of Doboj and destroyed the Senj-Tuzla railway.
