State: Friday next, Richard Llewellyn’s “How Green Was My Valley.” In order to satisfy the demands of all who have not yet seen this unforgettable production and of those who wish to see it again, the management will screen “How Green Was My Valley” for a threeday season commencing Friday. The Morgan family is one that everyone knows and loves. The father, mother, sons and daughters have their individual and collective problems to face, and they face them with courage and character. How he manages to find the killers and placate hjs bride-to-be provides exciting fun. Majestic: Friday. Deanna Durbin in “Hers to Hold,” and “Show Business at War” (March of Time). In “Hers to Hold.” considered one of the year’s most significant romantic dramas. Deanna Durbin is co-starred with Joseph Cotten. Charles Winninger. Evelyn Ankers and Gus Schilling have outstanding roles. Enthusiastic advance reports indicate that the picture is an unqualified triumph. Deanna, it is declared, has the best role of her career. She appears as a debutante who goes to work in a war industry and finds romance as well as the satisfaction of serving her country. Cotten portrays an Army flyer whose loyalty to the service very nearly thwarts his devotion to the girl he must leave behind. Climatic sequences have more serious dramatic depth than any in which Miss Durbin has previously appeared.
