FORMER FASCIST SECRETARY
SFORZA ARRESTED London. Jan. 11. Paris radio reports the arrest in Rome of Count Sforza. the former sec retary of the Fascist Party. It is not stated w'hat the charges are. Count Sforza voted against the deposing of Mussolini, but did not mobilise the Fascist Party forces after , Mussolini’s fall. He later wrote a letter ) adhering to Marshal Badoglio’s policy. He has a reputation for ruthlessness, and carried out a drastic purge of the party up to the time of the collapse of the Fascist regime.
