DAMAGE CAUSED BY HEAVY BOMBERS Washington, Jan. 10. Search Liberators bombed Kwajalein, in the Marshalls, without encountering enemy fighters, says Pacific Fleet headquarters Seventh Air Force heavy bombers bombed Wotje and in a separate operation Search Liberators attacked Wotje from a low altitude, sinking an auxiliary oiler and another small vessel off the shore, also wrecking two planes on the ground and damaging shore installations. All the planes returned safely. Medium bombers attacked Jaluit. Flak damaged one of our planes and one member of the crew was wounded.
