Bro C. A Burn. P.A . was presented last night at the fortnightly meeting of the Maitai Lodge. U.A.0.D.. with a Past Arch's jewel. The presentation was made by the District President, Bro. J. McKnight. who paid a warm tribute to the excellent work done by Bro. Burn over a period of many years. He had been one of the mainstays of the •lodge and had helped to keep the lodge going during a most difficult period when so many of the younger officers and members were in the armed forces. He had been an inspiration to the younger members. Other members endorsed the District President’s re-
marks and Bro. Burn was accord i musical honours. The recipient suitably replied and said that he had always been keenly interested in Druidism. He had spent many happy years in the lodge and had derived great benefit from his membership.
