AT THE PICTURES

Majestic Theatre: Screening to-night, "True to the Army," featuring Judy Canova, Jerry Colonna and Allan Jones, for it includes many laugh provoking situations, gay music and sensational dancing. The story concerns the plight of Judy Canova. a fight-rope walker, who has to hide from gangsters because she happened to see them kill a man. She goes to her sweetheart. Jerry Colonna. a pigeontrainer in a nearby army camp. There Colonna and Allan Jones cut her hair, put a uniform on her and try to pass her off as one of the boys. And then poor Judy is ordered to the camp hospital for a medical examination! The picture is a riot of Colonna quips and Canova clowning.
