“BLACK WIDOW” FIGHTER
PRODUCTION IN CALIFORNIA Washington, Jan. 9. The War Department announced that a new twin-engined nightfighter. P 61. “Black Widow,” is now in production at Northrop Company’s plant in California. The plane has a fairly long range, and effective speed and climb characteristics. It is equipped with the latest devices for the destruction of enemy bombers.
