THE JOKER NOW ELIGIBLE The difficulties in connection with The Joker and the return of the Stud Book certificate from Australia were overcome in time to permit him to start in the main handicap at Dunedin on Saturday. It was his first appearance in public since his return from Victoria, and he was never prominent, being toward the rear of the field throughout. On this performance it seems doubtful whether his Wellington Cup engagement will be continued.
