SUNDAY BUS SERVICES

DRIVERS’ DISPUTE IN AUCKLAND Auckland, Jan. 9. With bus drivers rigidly adhering to their decision endorsed at the general meeting of the Auckland Drivers’ Union not to operate normal services on Sundays, the public were without bus travelling facilities in Auckland today. In terms of their resolution to refrain from running services until the proprietors granted them wage and time concessions, the drivers operated a limited service for about two hours this morning, from 7 to 9 o’clock, and again in the evening from 4 to 6 o’clock. No official developments have been reported to-night in the dispute be tween the drivers and bus operators.P.A.
