R.S.A. CLUB PROPOSED
ESTABLISHMENT IN NELSON A proposal to establish a Returned Services Club to embrace assembly, social and sports activities is at present under consideration by the Nelson R.S.A. The association is satisfied that there is a need for such a club in Nelson and at a ‘monthly meeting next week the executive will discuss the details of a campaign for raising funds. Among the first things to be considered will be the appointment for a full-time organiser for the period of the campaign. The R.S.A. has in view the purchase of a suitable building with the necessary grounds to enable the provision of a bowling green and tennis courts, in addition to the indoor activities of the club. It is intended that membership will be open to both men and women of the services.
