DAY AT THE CROIXELLES
On Monday we left home at 8 o’clock for Okiwi Bay (Croixelles) We had dinner and tea there. We met other friends and we all went bathing. We took our accordion, Swanee whistle, and gramophone with us and Dad played us a lot of music. Travelling through the bush with ferns and native trees on either side, made it a lovely trip for us. as we had never been there before. Wc arrived home at 8.30 p.m. very tired, but very happy after a lovely day —Cynthia Hehbcrd. Whangamoa.
